9 Awesome Mother’s Day Gifts For Under $20 From Kmart

Mother’s Day Gifts
For Under $20
From Kmart

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and if you’re looking for some simple Mother’s Day Gifts that won’t break the bank then I’d suggest heading to Kmart. I really think that with Mothers Day gifts it’s the thought that counts. Even though I suggested some moderately extravagant Mother’s Day Gifts for myself in the form of experience gifts, I really don’t need anything more than a token gift to say that my kid’s care (or that my partner cares and takes the kids out to buy something for me!) And same for my mum, even though she deserves the world I think she’s happy with a little something to show I thought of her.

(Also how cute is my little photo-bomber!)

Dressing Gown

Because dressing gown. These were super soft and fluffy. I don’t NEED a dressing gown because I already have two from previous Mother’s Days, but if you don’t have one these are lovely.

Sensory Deprivation

Ear muffs + eye mask = peace at last. Recommended for mums with small children.

Bath Products

I don’t really like bath products myself, I’m not really a bathy person. I mostly just feel awkward laying naked in water. BUT my mum loves this stuff and while I tend to prefer to buy for her from Lush or The Body Shop, sometimes when the pennies are tight Kmart has got my back with these pretty little packs.

Most Comfortable Bra Ever

I am wearing one of these right now. My boobs have never been happier. These are so very very comfortable. I never thought I could love a bra without an underwire this much.

Books

From what I could see all the books in Kmart are under $20! Awesomeness! I haven’t actually had the time or attention span to sit down and read a book for YEARS, but in theory, a good book is a great gift.

DVDS

If you’re mum still has a DVD player (My mum does. I do not). I highly recommend these movies if you want to make your mum sob uncontrollably.

CANDLES!

ALL THE CANDLES! Or maybe just 3 of them for $6 each would look lovely and then when the candle burns down you’ve still got the candle holder for future candles. Because nobody can have too much candle related stuff. (I know I can’t)

Fake Plants

Because nothing says I’m lucky to be alive like giving your mum plastic succulents. (Actually they would be good for me. My mum can actually keep plants alive. I cannot).

Wine Glasses

Because you’re probably the reason your mum drinks. (Joking!) I would appreciate $1 wine glasses though because I constantly smash mine. I can’t have nice things.

Adorable Journals

How cute are these? And you can also get a couple of rose-gold pens for $5 to go with them. So sweet for Mummas who like to write.

Kitchen Stuff

mothers day gift kitchen stuff

I maaaayyybbbeeeee put together a present for my best friend from this stand a few weeks ago. She told me she didn’t own any measuring equipment. No measuring spoons, jugs, or cups. WHAT?!? She bakes!!! HOW???? I felt the need to rectify that immediately! So if you’re mum is missing a few bits and pieces in the kitchen this whole stand is just $2 each.

I hope that helps you choose a Mother’s Day Gift for your mum, or maybe gives you some ideas of what to hint to your kids that you’d like to open on Mother’s Day!

  1. lol, how did i get through without measuring equipment…. lol. i WINGED IT! but FYI i use the jug all the time now. and every now and then even the measuring spoon set! the pretty pink colander has replaced my old metal ones, and i fully intend to use the cup set eventually!

  2. My inexpensive gift wish is a cookbook from one of the YouTube baking channels I’m addicted to. The expensive gift is the new mixer to make all the things in the book!
