Lace Trim Nursing Bra Review

I’ve been breastfeeding now for over 5 years, so I’ve had my fair share of maternity bras!

Lace-nursing-bra-428-white-back-zoom-model@4XThe “Lace trim nursing bra” from Maternity Sale ticks a couple of big boxes for me – nice wide back and shoulder straps, which is a very important feature for me as I have a bigger bust. I’m also always a little bit wary of bras without an under wire or padding because they often don’t deliver the support I’m looking for, and this bra is very supportive, I don’t feel like I have any jiggle or drag. The lace edge at the top does come up quite high which makes it a great every-day t-shirt bra, because there is no way even with bending over multiple times a day running after a toddler that I’m going to pop out over the top.

Also my breasts do significantly expand and contract as they fill with milk between feeds, especially with feeding less frequently now, and this is a bra that is just as comfortable fit at the start of the day as it is at the end of the day with no feeds in between. This would also be great for feeding in the early days where breast size can vary greatly.

Lace-trim-nursing-bar-428-white-front-zoom-model-openIt  has an easy to open clasp on each side for breastfeeding, also when unclipped the bra cup can pull right down off the whole of the breast if necessarily – which is also really helpful for breastfeeding with a bigger bust or breastfeeding a new baby.

Also, I’m always a bit concerned when ordering a bra online that it won’t be the size that it says it is, but the bra I ordered fits perfectly, so that’s a big plus also!

The only drawback for me is the shape of the upper edge of the bra makes it unsuitable for wearing with a singlet, but perfectly fine under a tank top or a t-shirt.

Overall, it’s a very comfortable bra, it’s soft and flexible enough to wear at night. Though Maternity Sales also provided us with a “Cross-Over Sleep Bra” to review.
