Mix Apparel – Baby Bodysuits Review

Picture showing Target 0000 (top), Big W 000 (middle) and Mix Apparel 0-3months ( Bottom)

This review is personal opinion and isn’t sponsored by Mix Apparel in any way.

I bought some of Mix Apparel items for my daughters (2.5 year old & 12 week old). I wanted to see if their quality was comparable to other brands.

What I found with the long sleeved baby bodysuits is the sizing is BIG. My 12 week old is a taller girl and average in weight, but these baby bodysuit swim on her. The crotch hangs about 1 inch lower than her Modern Cloth Nappy. The arms were loose but would fit a chubbier 12 week old.

The cotton knit used has some stretch to allow for easy dressing but does not seem to become misshapen like cheaper brands. Care has been taken to produce a good quality item that should last for at least the 3 months it is sized for. I’ve had minimal stretching over 10 washes and not much colour fade, which is great. The snaps at the crotch are quite tight and you do feel like your going to rip the material when opening them.

I would not recommend them for newborns even though its from 0-3months, it is just too big; I would say their baby bodysuits sizing is more a 00 or 3-6month.

When comparing their full price to Target and Big W brands, they are no cheaper, actually a little more expensive that baby bodysuits from Target.

Overall l am impressed with their quality but recommend shoppers compare sizing before purchasing otherwise they will be sitting in the cupboard for a few months

Bumbleride Indie Twin (With Video Review)

The Bumbleride Indie Twin, like all the Bumbleride prams, contains recycled plastic bottles in the fabric. Which is a very cool feature for the eco-conscious.
