How do you support baby’s head in the Ergobaby Aerloom?
“How to make sure that the baby’s head is not falling around? The baby head sticks out too much.”
Question source:
Could be a couple of things that will help. It’s difficult to make specific recommendations without seeing them in the carrier.
Aside from ensuring the panel sits to the back of their neck/head (no higher than the top of their ear) the next big thing would be making sure they are “sitting” in the carrier rather than “hanging” in it. So their bottom is right down deep into the “seat”/base of the carrier, knees up, to form the M position with their legs/hips/bottom.
To get this position you want to scoop your hands under their bottom and wiggling them down while keeping their knees up.
(Happy to try to make a video of this, but my dolls aren’t great for demonstrating knees/hips)
This will then support a slight curve in their back so their head comes forward to your chest, rather than flops back.
