“I was wondering if you have any information about the Aer+ compatibility with capsules sold here in Australia as I struggle to find that on the internet.”

The Joolz Aer+ has been safety tested and confirmed to be compatible with the following capsules in Australia:

  • Cybex Cloud Q
  • Infa Secure Adapt More

The style of the Joolz Aer/Aer+ capsule adapters are the “Maxi Cosi” style, however the Maxi Cosi capsules available in Australia don’t physically fit the Joolz Aer/Aer+ strollers due to differences on the Australian capsules.

So while the Maxi Cosi capsules will plug into the capsule adapters they won’t smoothly connected and release when the capsule adapters are attached to the stroller itself.

With this one it might be worth going into a store with the Joolz Aer+ and the adapters as well as a good range of capsules (particularly Nuna or Joie) and test out what fits securely and releases easily from the stroller.

Although if you have the budget for it the Cybex Cloud Q is, in my opinion, the best capsule on the market and if you are planning to use the Joolz Aer+ from birth in Australia the Cybex Cloud Q capsule is essentially a car seat and stroller cot in one (because it can recline flat when out of the car) So with girl math you’re practically saving money.

And the Infa Secure Adapt More is a pretty cool capsule from an ease of use perspective, and only misses out on being a 12month capsule by a couple of cms in the shoulder marker. So if you’ve ruled it out because of it’s 6m capsule status it’s also well worth a look.
