Nanny Pilot Programme Coming Soon

Drawing together

The Australian Government is investing $246 million over two years for the Nanny Pilot Programme, which will subsidise the cost of hiring a nanny for some families.

Applications are open now and will be open until the 30th of October this year, so if this is something you’re interested in for your family you can find more information about the programme here. *Link No Longer Works*

This programme will be helpful for families who are unable to use childcare services, such as shift workers, families who live remotely and or in areas where there is insufficient childcare available.

The rate at which the care will be subsidised is income tests and is paid between $7.00 and $3.50 per hour of care, per child, and up to 50 hours a week, for families earning less than $250,000 per annum.

What do you think of the Nanny Pilot Programme? Is it something that would benefit your family?
